CUPFA is pleased to announce that at its Special General Meeting on November 16th, 2014 its membership in attendance voted unanimously to ratify the new Collective Agreement 2012-15. This follows an Agreement in Principle with Concordia University reached earlier this month. This Collective Agreement will expire in April 2015 when negotiations will be re-opened to coincide with the opening of negotiations by other unions at Concordia.
CUPFA thanks the members for their attendance at the ratification meeting and support throughout the negotiation process. Me Patrice Blais, Vice President, Collective Agreement and Grievance led the Negotiating team with unwavering tenacity. He and his team are to be congratulated on their vehement defence of the working conditions of Part-time Faculty and for representing their interests so diligently.
