Patrice Blais, our Vice-President, Grievance and Collective Agreement, hosted an online webinar Demystifying Your Pay Stub on Monday on November 28, 2022.
Members have expressed interest in better understanding their pay and deductions, and how to verify that these calculations are correct. Employee pay stubs are typically cryptic and not easy to interpret, so Patrice will review the mysterious little boxes containing amounts related to legal regulations and optional benefits. This will also be beneficial in the context of the multiple mistakes payroll related following the transition to Unity.
